Kristi Niederklein, MSN, APRN-NP, FNP-C
Kristi began her nursing career in 2005, working in the emergency room at various capacities. In 2010 she graduated from Creighton University with a Masters of Science in Nursing, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Family Nurse Practitioner and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kristi has worked in emergency room, family practice and workplace wellness, before opening her own health and wellness practice in 2023.
Kristi has always had a personal interest in living a healthy lifestyle; exercising regularly and following a healthy diet. Working in the emergency room for several years, she saw the results of poor lifestyle habits and the health complications that these choices caused for her patients. This inspired her to take her personal interest of living a healthy lifestyle into educating herself even more, to benefit her patients. Kristi went on to become a certified personal trainer and has taken hours of coursework on motivational interviewing, behavior change, lifestyle medicine, exercise medicine, and advanced training through the Institute of Functional Medicine.
Kristi and her husband have two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her girls participate in their various activities. She is an outdoors enthusiast and enjoys long walks with her dogs, hiking, biking, running, swimming and kayaking. You’ll often find her lifting weights or running with friends, crafting healthy meals and planning various adventures with family and friends. She is an Enneagram 1w3 - honest, down-to-earth, ambitious, ethical, self-discipline, caring, and self-improvement (we’re all a work in progress).
